Venetian masks were used in Italy throughout the 15th century to hide the individual's identity from the public. Their use was banned for some time. The day the ban was lifted became known as the Carnival of Venice.
This black feminine mask is made from hard plastic and is about 9" tall and 5.5" wide. It has beautiful black sparkled designs painted right on it! It also includes peacock feathers that are about 4" off to the side of the Mask. It would be great to wear in any masquerade ball or as an additional piece to a lovely costume.
This mask will fit most adults.
